1 1/2 lb ground beef
1 large head cabbage
1 can Rotel tomatoes with chillis (hot)
1 can tomato puree (large)
Salt and pepper to taste
2-3 tbsp vinegar
1 cup dry rice, partially cooked
1 egg, slightly beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Core cabbage. Steam cabbage and then separate leaves. Let leaves cool and remove stem part of leaf. Set aside.

Boil rice as directed, but not well done. Let cool.

Mix tomato puree and Rotel tomatoes together. Add vinegar and salt and pepper to taste.

When rice is cooled (do not drain), add to ground beef along with egg. Mix well.

Place large spoonfuls of meat mixture in each cabbage leaf, roll up, and tuck in ends. Put large outer cabbage leaves in the bottom of a large stock pot. Place cabbage rolls on top of leaves and continue layering.

Pour tomato mixture over cabbage rolls and cook at low heat for about 2 hours. Let stand for sauce to thicken.
