2 pounds powdered sugar
1/4 cup butter softened
1 (8oz.) pack of cream cheese - softened
a few drops of food coloring ( red. green, yellow, orange as desired)
1/2 teaspoon flavoring or .extract, (wintergreen, .peppermint, )spearmint orange or lemon).

Directions:

1. Mix butter and cream cheese together in medium heavy saucepan over LOW heat., stirring well till well blended.
2. Add powdered sugar and stir until well combined.
3. Add your chosen flavorings and food coloring. You can divide into 2 3 portions and color different colors.
4. Roll in 1 inch balls and place on cookie sheets lined with waxed paper. press each ball down with a fork or a mold sprayed with cooking spray.
5. Let mints dry 4 hours or overnight.
