2 15 oz cans drained garbanzo beans (chick peas)
3/8 C extra virgin olive oil
3/8 C tahini paste
1 to 2 T freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 tsp salt, or, to taste
White pepper
Onion powder to taste
Garlic powder to taste
Red pepper flakes

Add any of the following ingredients for a different taste:
Roasted garlic
Chopped parsley
1/2 T ground coriander
1T ground cumin
Sliced or minced black olives
Jalapeņo pepper, finely minced
Chopped cilantro
Green onions
Roasted red pepper
Feta cheese
Chopped rosemary

Save a few whole garbanzo beans for decoration.
Blend 1st four ingredients well in a blender or food processor.
Stir in, extras.

Place hummus in serving bowl. Make a slight indentation in the center of the hummus with the back of a spoon. Add a little olive oil in the center and top with a few of the slightly crushed beans; add a little of the extras you used, such as black olives.
