1 stick margarine
1/2 cup of oil
3 TBSP cocoa
1 cup water
2 cups plain flour
2 cups sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Icing:
1 stick margarine, melted
2 1/2 to 3 TBSP cocoa
3 TBSP milk
1 box confectioners' sugar
1 cup chopped pecans
1 tsp. vanilla

Cake:
Melt in saucepan, margarine, oil cocoa and water. Let boil and set aside. In a medium sized bowl, mix together flour sugar and salt. Beat until smooth. Add well beaten eggs, buttermilk, soda and vanilla. Combine both mixtures together and bake at 350º for 30 minutes.

Icing:
In a saucepan, combine margarine, cocoa and milk. Do not boil, just get mixture hot and add powdered sugar, pecans and vanilla. Mix well and pour over cake while warm.
