For the cake:
1 stick of butter, softened
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 Tbsp. baking powder
2 eggs
1 pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla

For the strusesel:
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1 stick of butter, softened
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350ºF.

Grease two 9x13 pans or one 11x15 pan.

For the cake: Mix flour, baking powder, and eggs together in a separate bowl. Mix butter together until fluffy. Add eggs in one at a time. Add in vanilla. Mix in the dry ingredients just until incorporated. Spread the dough onto the the greased baking pans.

For the struesel: Mix all of the ingredients together with your hands until a crumble forms. Sprinkle over the cake dough.

Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.

If the cake dough is hard to spread, add a little bit of water.
You can add fruit if you would like, just add it onto the top of the cake before adding the struesel.
