1 pkg active dry yeast
1/2 cup warm water
1 cup warm milk
3 egg yolks
4 cups flour
6 Tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 cup butter (or margarine)
3 apples, sliced

Cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
1. Soak yeast in warm water.

2. Mix flour, sugar, salt, butter as for pie crust.

3. Combine milk, yeast, and beaten egg yolks. Pour over mixture and beat well, let stand over night in refrigeration. Divide dough in four parts. Roll out to fit pans.

4. Sprinkle sliced apples, sugar, and cinnamon. Top with another layer of dough. Bake in moderate oven 350ºF 20-30 minutes. Use powdered sugar icing and top with nuts if desired.

5. Can also use blueberry, cherry, and raspberries.
