1/2 C. Shortening
1 C. Sugar
3/4 Banana, mashed
1 1/2 C. Flour
3/4 tsp. Baking Soda
1/2 tsp. Salt
2 Eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.

Grease a 9X9 pan.

Sift together dry ingredients and hold to the side.

Cream shortening and sugar until fluffy. Add the eggs (one at a time), beat after each egg. Stir in the banana.

Combine the wet and dry ingredients and mix well.

Pour the mixture into the pre-greased pan and bake for 30-35 minutes.
