2 cups of sugar
2 leveled tbsp of pure cocoa
1/8 tbsp of cream of tarter
2/3 cup of milk (chef's choice is carnation milk)
1 tsp vanilla
2 tbsp pure butter

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, milk, cocoa, and cream of tartar in a pot on the stove. Bring to boil, slowly stirring until ingredients are well blended. Boil to soft ball stage at 238 degrees on a candy thermometer. Remove from heat, add butter but do not stir in. When all the mixture is lukewarm add the vanilla and beat until the mixture is creamy. Beat until the shiny butter disappears and the fudge begins to thicken. Spread butter into a pan of your preference. Refrigerate for your desired consistency.
