4 C sifted flour
4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 lb butter
1 1/2 C sugar
1 C currants (rinsed with hot water)
2 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, salt, baking powder, and sugar together. Cut in butter. Add currants. Add beaten eggs and if needed, another egg or water or milk. Roll out, cut and cook on griddle at 340º. If possible, use an electric griddle.
