4 1/4 cups of flour
3 eggs
1 cups of sugar
1/4 cup of milk
1/6 bar of butter
1/6 bar of crisco lard
1 1/2 tsp of baking powder
1/4 tsp lemon peel
1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
pinch of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Line a cookie sheet with parchemin paper, or grease and flour it.
Preheat oven to 350 F.

In a food processor put flour, butter and lard, baking powder and salt, mix until all blended. ( if you don't have a food processor you can do it the old fashioned way, by
hand)
In a bowl beat the eggs and sugar, mix in the lemon peel. ( set aside for a few minutes)
Remove the dry ingredients from food processor, put in a bowl, add the milk
and form it into a ball, add the egg and sugar mixture and mix well into it.
Add the semi- sweet chocolate chips.

(These cookies look different then regular chocolate chip cookies, they look more like a sort of cake cookie).

You and your kids and family will enjoy these cookies.Scrumptously Delicious!

She would bake these delicious cookies and bring them to my door at least once a month while my children were growing up..
