1 Peck pears
1 Lemon
1 large can pineapple
2/3 lb of sugar to one pound of pears

or

12 cups of chopped pears
1 lemon cut in half and thinly sliced
1 large can crushed pineapple
6 cups sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Peal and chop pears or place in food processor to chop. Place in large stock pot with sliced lemon and sugar. Cook 20 minutes, boiling slowly. Now pour in pineapple and cook until fruit thickens (applesauce consistency). Place in jars and seal while hot.
