(1) 2 C Butter
(1) 2 C Sugar
(1) 2 C Brown sugar
(2) 4 Eggs
(1) 2 tsp. Vanilla
(2) 4 C Flour
(2 1/2) 5 C Oatmeal, put small amounts in blender after measuring and whir until powder
(1/2) 1 tsp. Salt
(1) 2 t Baking powder
(1) 2 t Baking soda
(omit) 24 oz. Chocolate chips
(same) 1 8 oz. Plain Hershey bar (grind or chop in blender)
(optional) 3 C Chopped nuts

Cream together first three ingredients
Add eggs and vanilla
In separate bowl combine flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder, and baking soda
Mix all ingredients together and add chocolate chips, plain Hershey bar, and nuts
Place golf ball sized cookies 2” apart on ungreased cookie sheet
Dough is stiff; roll balls of dough rather than drop from spoon as most chocolate chip cookie recipes call for, also flatten balls slightly before baking for bigger, flatter cookies
Bake at 375º for 6 minute (I had to bake them for 10 minutes until they start to flatten and get golden brown
