1 6 oz package Chocolate Chips
2 cups flour
2/3 cups butter
1/4 cup light corn syrup
2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 egg
1/2 cup Sugar
Pearson's Mint Patties

Directions:
Directions:
1. Melt chocolate chips. In bowl, beat chocolate chips, butter, flour, corn syrup, baking soda, salt, egg, and 1/2 cup sugar on low speed until blended.

2. Increase to medium and beat until well mixed. Scrape bowl often. Wrap dough with saran wrap and refrigerate 2 hours or freeze 40 minutes.

3. Preheat oven to 350ºF. With hand, shape dough into even number of balls, roll in sugar. Place balls 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.

4. Bake 12-15 minutes until set. Place mint on one cookie, and add another cookie on top while still warm.
