1 c olive oil
1 lb. chopped onion
1 lb. ground meat
1 c washed uncooked rice
2 Tbsp. dill or mint
1 c hot water
2 Tbsp. pine nuts
1 Tbsp. salt
¼ tsp. pepper
50-60 grape leaves
lemon (squeeze)

Directions:
Directions:
1) Heat ½ c. olive oil and saute ground meat. Put aside.

2) Saute the onions then add the rice and saute for 5 min.

3) Add the meat, dill or mint, ½ c. hot water, pine nuts, salt and pepper. Simmer 5 min.

4) Rinse leaves- boil 3 min. Rinse in cold water & drain (Lay leaves shiny side down, fill and roll).

5) Place in pot, sprinkle with juice of 1 lemon. Add ½ c. olive oil & ½ c. water. Put plate on top to hold sealed. *Cover and simmer over low heat for 1 hour.
