Ingredients:
Ingredients:
8 ounce box of thin spaghetti
1 pound ground beef
1 onion
1 bell pepper
1 14 ounce bottle ketchup
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup water
few drops of Texas Pete hot sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Cook spaghetti according to directions. Rinse with cold water to wash out excess starch and keep it from sticking. Rinse with hot water when ready to serve.

For the sauce:
Brown ground beef. Add chopped onion and pepper. (When my kids were little, they didn't like chunks of onion and pepper. These were (and still are!) thrown in the blender before adding to the sauce) Stir and cook until the onions clarify. Add ketchup. Rinse bottle out with a small amount of water and add to sauce. Add salt and hot sauce. Simmer slowly for about 15 minutes.
**I like to make multiple servings and freeze for later.
