4 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 milk
2 eggs
1 1/2 tbsp. baking powder
3/4 cup vegetable oil
1 tbsp. pure anise extract

Icing:
1 cup confectionery sugar
2 tbsp. milk
1/4 tsp. pure anise extract

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all dry ingredients in large bowl. Add wet ingredients and mix until well blended. The dough should hold together without being sticky. Roll into 1 inch balls and place 2 inches apart on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350º F for 15 minutes. Cool and dip in icing. Sprinkle with nonpareils.
