1 cup butter- softened to room temperature
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. lemon extract
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup milk
5 1/2 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar, butter and eggs until light and fluffy. Then beat in soda, lemon extract and vanilla. Combine well then add milk, stir until well blended then add flour gradually. This makes a soft, sticky dough. Use a cookie scoop to scoop dough, then roll dough through sugar and place on a greased or lined cookie sheet. Bake on 375º for about 12 minutes. Frost with buttercream frosting.
