3-4 ripe bananas mashed
1/2 cup melted butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg beaten
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
pinch of salt
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour

No need for a mixer for this recipe. Preheat oven to 350º Grease a loaf pan.
With a wooden spoon, mix butter into mashed bananas in a large mixing bowl. Mix in the sugar, egg, and vanilla. Sprinkle the soda and salt over the mixture, and mix in. Add the flour last and mix. Pour into greased pan for 1 hour. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove and finish cooling on a baking rack.
