¼ - ½ lb bacon
2 large cans Pork & Beans
1 small onion chopped
¼ cup brown sugar
2 tbsp. molasses
1 tsp. mustard
4 tbsp. ketchup
Liquid Smoke (to taste)

Chop up bacon and fry until crispy, drain off grease and set aside on paper towels
Mix all ingredients together, add bacon and place in an oven safe dish. Bake at 200 for 6 – 8 hours, or use a crock pot on low.

Our grandma Nellie (Gabby, as James Lee called her) would cook this whenever we came to visit her, she used an old brown crock in the oven and slow cooked them all day, it smelled so good. Now we use an electric crock pot.
