1 large yellow onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 lb. lean ground pork
3/4 cup uncooked long grain rice
1 medium head green cabbage, copped (core removed)
1 (28 oz.) can diced tomatoes
2 tablespoons tomato paste
4 cups beef broth
1&1/2 cups V8 or other vegetable juice
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp paprika
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 bay leaf
salt & pepper, to taste

Directions:
Directions:
In a large pot, brown onion, garlic, pork & beef. Drain.
Stir n chopped cabbage & let cook until slightly softened.
Add all remaining ingredients, bring to a boil, reduce & simmer on low until rice is fully cooked (about 25-30 minutes)
Remove bay leave & serve
