1 cup butter
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
21/4 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cups chopped walnuts
Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter 1/2 cup powdered sugar. Add vanilla. Mix in all remaining ingredients until dough holds together.
Shape dough into 1" balls. Place one inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 400 degrees about 10-12 minutes. Roll in powdered sugar while still warm.

Grandma Stouffer always made us a huge plate of homemade cookies at Christmas. She had a wonderful variety of delicious cookies.
Grandma Martin loved these cookies. Grandma Stouffer would always make an extra box of these just for her.
