Fruit Cocktail Cake Recipe

Cake:
2 C flour
1-1/2 C sugar
2 t baking soda
1/2 t salt
2 large eggs
1-15 oz can fruit cocktail (use regular, not light)

Icing:
1 stick butter
2/3 C Pet milk (small can)
3/4 C sugar (part brown sugar, part white sugar)
1/2 t vanilla
1-1/4 C coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Using a blender, puree the fruit cocktail AND the juice. Mix all ingredients together. Pour into a greased 9X13 pan. Then sprinkle 1/2 C brown sugar and 1/2 C nuts over this mixture.

Bake are 350º for about 35 minutes.

Icing:
Melt butter, Pet milk, sugar together. Bring to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes. Add vanilla and coconut. Stir well and pour over hot cake.
