1 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker crust
3 cups sweetened condensed milk (about 2 cans)
1/2 cup sour cream
3/4 cup key lime juice- about 20 key limes (Note: If you don't have key lime juice or don't feel like squeezing key limes, you may substitute the key lime juice with a mixture of 1 part fresh lemon juice and 1 part fresh lime juice until you have 3/4 a cup.)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
In a medium bowl, combine condensed milk, sour cream, lime juice, and lime rind. Mix well and pour into graham cracker crust.
Bake in preheated oven for 5 to 8 minutes, until tiny pinhole bubbles burst on the surface of pie. DO NOT BROWN! Chill pie thoroughly before serving.
Garnish with lime slices and whipped cream if desired.

Dave isn't much of a dessert fan, unless it comes to this key lime pie. This is something I have made for his deployment homecomings and most birthdays. Dave also loves Key West, FL so it's probably a good reminder of his enjoyable cross country trips he would take with the Prowler jets.
If you want to make your own whip cream, which we highly recommend, just whip up some heavy whipping cream with a touch of sugar and vanilla and spread it over the entire pie. Enjoy!
