1 cup (1/2 lb) butter
2 1/3 cups brown sugar
dash salt
1 cup light corn syrup
15oz can condensed sweetened milk
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in heavy 3 quart saucepan, add sugar and salt, Stir until thoroughly combined. Stir in light corn syrup. Mix well. Gradually add milk stirring constantly. Cook over medium heat until candy reaches a firm ball stage, about 15 mins. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla. Pour into buttered pan. Cool, cut into squares and wrap in wax paper.
