1/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3 cups milk
1 pkg. coconut
2 egg yolks, slightly beaten
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. butter
1 cooked pie shell

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, flour, and salt in sauce pan. Add milk and stir until smooth. Add 1 cup coconut. Cook 15 mins., stir constantly. Mix small amount with egg yolks, return to saucepan. Cook 2 mins. Add vanilla and butter. Cool

Meringue
2 egg whites
1/4 cup sugar
Beat until firm. Spread on top of cooled pie. Sprinkle with coconut. Bake at 350º for 15 mins.
