1 cup margarine
9 oz. pkg cream cheese
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
12. oz. Semisweet chocolate pieces
Optional- 1/2 cup nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Combine margarine, softened cream cheese and sugars, mixing until well blended. Blend in egg and vanilla. Sift flour, baking powder, salt. Add combined dry ingredients; mix well. Stir in chocolate pieces and nuts. Drop rounded teaspoon full of dough onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375º for 15-18 minutes or until lightly browned.
