1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
3 1/2 cups sifted cake flour
1/4 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup finely chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla and continue to cream thoroughly. This creaming may be done more easily in mix-master. To the creamed mixture add the dry ingredients; flour, salt and baking powder which has been sifted together. Nuts are added last. Form into rolls about 2 inches in diameter, wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate or freeze at least overnight or until ready to use. To bake, slice 1/16 " and bake at 300 -325 until just brown on the edge.
