Grated rind of 2 lemons

Cook in double boiler until thick. Cool and spread on cake.

I am guessing this is the awesome lemon cheese filling in a lemon cheese cake usually iced with a vanilla icing on a white or yellow cake. Bakeries made these cakes - they were amazing. Have not had one is a long time!
