1/2 cup cocoa
2 cups sugar
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 tbsp light Kero corn syrup
1/3 tsp salt
2 tbsp butter
1 tsp vanilla
1/3 cup nuts
Directions:
Directions:
Mix all except vanilla and nuts - cook to a boil. Stir, turn dow low an cook until forms a sort of ball. Let cool and beat.

I am guessing Pearl is Pearl Cochran. Nanny Bodie named this Pearl's chocolate icing. This is that good cooked chocolate icing you do not get any more these days.
