2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup salted butter, softened
1 (4 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 large egg
2 teaspoon pure lemon extract
1 1/2 cups whole macadamia nuts

Directions:

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. In a medium bowl combine flour, soda, and salt. Mix well with a wire whisk and set aside. In a large bowl, blend together sugars. With a electric mixer set at medium speed, add butter and cream cheese to sugar and mix to form a smooth paste. Add the egg and lemon extract, beat at medium speed until light and soft. Scrape down sides of the bowl occasionally. Add flour combination and macadamia nuts. Blend at low speed just until combine. Do not over mix. Drop by round tablespoons onto a ungreased cookie sheet, 2 inches apart.

Bake for 23-25 minutes.
