1/2 Butter (2 Sticks) softened.
2 cups Flour.
1/2 cup Sugar.
Pinch Salt.

Cut butter into flour mixture until crumbly.
Roll out as thin as possible on floured surface.
Cut into circles with cutter or glass.
Bake at 300º, watch carefully so that they are only light brown (about 30 min.)
When cool sandwich two cookies with raspberry jam.
Frost with a mixture of powered sugar, water and lemon juice.
Place a candied cherry or dollop of jam on top.
