1 cup of butter (not margarine)
2 cups of flour
5 T of powdered sugar
1 t of vanilla
3/4 cup of pecans-finely chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter, powdered sugar & vanilla. Add flour. Mix well. Stir in pecans by hand. Chill slightly. Roll into balls and bake at 325º until light brown on the bottom. Do not over bake! Roll in powdered sugar while slightly warm. Roll in powdered sugar a couple of times after cooled.

I usually start checking the cookies after 6 minutes. Every minute after that. Just roll one over to check but be careful. They crumble in half very easy while hot.
