1 cup of brown sugar-packed
1/2 cup of butter/margarine
1/4 cup of light corn syrup (Karo)
1/2 t baking soda
1/2 t of salt
2 medium pans full of popped white popcorn.

Directions:
Directions:
In a saucepan heat sugar, butter, corn syrup & salt. Stir occasionally until bubbly around the edges of pan. Continue cooking over medium heat for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Stir in baking soda until foamy. Place popped popcorn on the bottom of a roasting pan. Pour caramel over popped corn and stir until well coated. Bake at 200º for 1 hour stirring every 15 minutes. Pour on wax paper to cool.

Try to get out all the "old maids" from the popped corn. I have never tried this recipe with microwave popcorn.
