1 cup of butter
2/3 cup of peanut butter
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of brown sugar-packed
2 eggs
2 t vanilla
3 1/2 cups of flour
2 t baking soda
1 t of salt
Chocolate kisses or stars

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together first four ingredients. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix well. In another bowl sift together dry ingredients. Blend into first mixture. Mix well. Shape dough into round balls. Roll in sugar. Bake at 350º for 8 minutes, remove from oven and press a chocolate kiss (or star) down into cookie so that cookie cracks around edges. Bake for 2 minutes longer.

Be careful not to stack cookies because the chocolate center will fall if touched. It takes the chocolate a long time to set.
