2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
2 sticks butter or 1/2 butter - 1/2 shortening
1 cup cold water
4 tablespoons cocoa
2 eggs
1/2 cup buttermilk or sour milk
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla

Frosting
1 stick butter
6 tablespoons canned milk
1 pound powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour sugar. Heat to boiling point butter, water and cocoa then add to flour mixture. Stir in eggs, soda, vanilla beat until smooth. Bake in large baking dish at 400 for 20 minutes for brownies or 350 for 30 to 35 minutes.

Frosting: Combine all ingredients pour over brownies as soon as done and out of the oven
