¾ butter/margarine, softened
½ C sugar
½ C confectioner’s sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 C all-purpose flour
½ C baking cocoa
2/3 C macadamia nuts or pecans, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350º
2. Cream butter & sugars until light & fluffy.
3. Add vanilla.
4. Small bowl: combine: flour & cocoa; gradually add to the creamed mixture
5. Stir in nuts
6. Shape into 1 ½ “balls.
7. Place onto ungreased sheets. Flatten with a fork.
8. Bake: 350’ for 12-14 minutes; until the surface cracks.
9. Remove to wire racks to cool

Yields: about 2 ½ dozen
