I can apricot pie filling
1 can pineapple chunks, drained
1 jar maraschino cherries
1 or two bananas

drain pineapple
mix, chill, serve

This was Granny's "ham" salad. The cherry one was for turkey. She felt that both were perfectly acceptable vegetables.
You can substitute peach pie filling or stew your own dried apricots to use in the "salad"
