1 can cherry pie filling
1 can crushed Pineapple well drained
1 can Eagle Brand Milk ( sweetened condensed milk)
1 8 oz container of Cool Whip

Drain Pineapple do not use juice
mix all ingredients together gently
butter a 13x9 dish and pour mixture into it
you can put crushed nuts and cherries on top if you want
freeze for 24 hours
take out of freezer ,put in refrigerator 1/2 hour before serving

This is how the recipe was given to me. I like to serve it a bit less frozen. I usually set it out of fridg for 1/2 hour or more before serving. That is when I remember to get it out of the freezer at all.
