1 package of Cherry Chip Cake Mix
2 eggs
½ cup vegetable oil
chopped pecans, optional
Maraschino cherries cut in half

Preheat 350º8
Uncreased cookie sheet
Bake 8 to 9 minutes or before edges turn brown

Combine dry cake mix, eggs and oil. Beat until well blended. If you are using the nuts then you can add them to the mixture before you refrigerate the dough for 15 minutes or overnite. Drop by teaspoonful onto cookie sheet or roll into small ball and roll into nuts (optional), slightly mash the ball and add ½ cherry to center of ball. Bake till done. Let set on cookie sheet for a minute or two then transfer to waxed paper or mesh rack to cool.
