Whole Brisket- large
1 pkt. Lipton's Onion Soup Mix
12 oz. can Coke (not diet)
Bottle of Chili Sauce.
1 C. Water

Directions:
Smoke brisket for 20 minutes on each side. Then place brisket in a large roaster pan, fat side up.

In a bowl, combine soup mix and water. Add Coke and chili sauce to the bowl and mix well. Pour over top of brisket. Place in 300º oven and cook for 5 hours.

Drain brisket, but keeping the drippings in a separate container for later. Slice off the fat from the brisket and place in refrigerator overnight WITH the drippings; separately.

NEXT DAY:
Skim off fat from the sauce and discard fat.

Slice brisket against the grain and place in a container. Pour the sauce over the sliced brisket and place in a 350º oven for 30-45 minutes or until warm/hot through and through.
