1½ C. Granulated Sugar
20 oz. can Crushed Pineapple
2 Eggs
2 C. Flour
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Salt
1/2 C. Brown Sugar
1/2 C. Nuts (walnuts or pecans)
Directions:
Directions:
Mix the granulated sugar, pineapple, eggs, flour, baking soda, and salt and pour into a 9" x 13" x 2" baking pan.

Before baking, sprinkle the brown sugar and nuts over batter. Bake at 350º for 45 minutes. Remove from oven.
 

TOPPING

3/4 C. Evaporated Milk
3/4 stick Butter or Margarine
1/2 C. White Sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla

Bring all ingredients to a boil for 1 minute. Pour over hot cake.
