1 pkg. (12 oz. or 2 c.) semisweet chocolate chips
¼ c. butter
1 14-oz. can sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)
2 c. flour
½ c. finely chopped nuts, optional
1 tsp. vanilla
60 Hershey Kisses/Hugs or other chocolate candy
2 oz. white almond bark
1 tsp. shortening or oil

Directions:
In medium saucepan, combine chocolate chips and butter. Cook, stirring, over very low heat until chips are melted and smooth.
Add sweetened condensed milk. Mix well. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup. Level off.
In medium bowl, combine flour, nuts, chocolate mixture and vanilla. Mix well.
Shape 1 tsp. dough around each Hershey Kiss, covering completely. Dough wraps more smoothly if tip is sliced off each Hershey Kiss.
Place 1-inch apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake in 350 degree oven for 6 -8 minutes.
Cookies will be soft appear shiny, but become firm as they cool..
Do not overbake. Remove from cookie sheets. Cool.
In double boiler, combine almond bark and shortening. Cook, stirring, over low heat until melted and smooth. Drizzle over cookies.
Store bonbons in tightly covered container
