1 lb. (16 oz.) sour cream
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
7 oz. (2 c.) bag coconut (reserve 1 c. for topping)
1 box yellow cake mix
1 container Cool Whip

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together sour cream, powdered sugar, and 1 cup coconut- let set overnight in fridge. Mix yellow cake mix according to directions. Bake in 2- 9" round pans. Cool and cut each layer in half (with thread or electric knife), making 4 thin round layers. Put 1/3 of sour cream mixture between each layer. Ice with Cool Whip around sides and on top. Sprinkle remaining coconut on top. Store in fridge 4 to 7 days before serving.
