3/4 c. shortening
3/4 c. butter
1 egg
1/2 c. sour cream
1/2 c. pineapple juice
3 1/2 c. flour (about)
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda

Directions:
Directions:
Measure and add dry ingredients together in a bowl. Cut in shortening in as for doing a pie crust. Add beaten egg, pineapple juice, and sour cream. Stir enough to blend. Drop on greased cookie sheets. Press a small piece of pineapple into each cookie.
Bake at 400º until light brown. About 12 minutes.
