1 3/4 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 stick (1/2 cup) softened butter
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup white sugar (plus extra for coating)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
2 tsp milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 bag Hershey's Chocolate stars

Directions:

In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda and salt
In a separate large bowl, beat together butter, peanut butter and both sugars until light and fluffy.
Add egg, milk and vanilla, mix until well creamed
Add dry ingredients and blend well
Roll dough into little balls about 1" diameter
Roll balls in bowl of sugar to coat
Bake on ungreased (or lightly greased) cookie sheet at 375º for 6-8 minutes (until starting to brown)
Take out of oven and press a chocolate star into center of each cookie
Return to oven and bake another 2-3 minutes. Watch closely, if too long, chocolate will start to melt.
