12 large eggs
3 1/2 Cups sugar
2 Cups oil
1 tsp anise oil- (you cannot use the anise flavoring in the spice section. The oil is available at most pharmacies)
1 tsp vanilla
6 Cups flour.

Directions:
Directions:
Combine the first 5 ingredients. Mix in flour. Stir batter until blended and then cover and refrigerate dough for several hours or overnight. Use 1 tsp of dough on each pizzelles iron space.

According to Barbara, the recipe actually came from Italy with Great grandma Mastropierre- her brother in laws family. Barbara has been a dear friend from church for about 35 years.
