2 Tbsp. olive oil
1 1/2 c. finely diced onion
1 c. finely diced green pepper
1 heaping Tbsp. minced garlic
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
3/4 lb. bulk sweet Italian sausage
5 slices soft white bread
1 3/4 c. Dino BBQ sauce
2 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. ground cumin
1/8 tsp. cayenne peppe
2 eggs, slightly beaten

Preheat oven: 350º Bake: 1 1/2 hrs.

Place olive oil in a large saute pan cook onions peppers, salt and pepper until soft, add garlic and cook. Remove from heat and transfer to a large mixing bowl.

Crumble ground beef and sausage, mix well. Wet the bread and squeeze like a sponge. Chop finely and add to bowl. Add 3/4 c. of BBQ sauce and spices. Mix well. Add eggs and mix one last time.

Place into a 9 1/2 in x 5 1/2 in loaf pan. Slather with 1/2 c. BBQ sauce.

Bake until done, let sit for 20 min, pour off fat and serve with BBQ sauce.
