41/2 cups all purpose flour
2 teas. vanilla
2 teas. baking soda
2 teas. salt
4 sticks butter or margarine
4 large eggs
11/2 cup granulated sugar
11/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 pkg. chocolate chips
1 cup nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º
Combine eggs, butter, and sugars, cream well. Add vanilla. Add dry ingredients. Drop rounded TBLS of dough onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown
