1 lb butter
1 lb light brown sugar
10 eggs
1 lb white raisins
1 lb mixed candied fruit
1 1/2 lb walnuts (3 cups)
1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp mace
1 tsp nutmeg
2 tsp baking powder
2 shots brandy (1/4 cup)
3 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 275 degrees.
Butter then line with foil six 8 x 4 x3 in loaf pans.
Mix raisins, candied fruit, walnuts and 1/2 cup flour and set aside.
Drain and halve 10 oz jar of red and 10 oz jar of green maraschino cherries and set aside.
Cream butter and sugar then add eggs one at a time
To butter mixture add mace, nutmeg, baking powder, flour and brandy.
Add fruit to batter and mix thoroughly.

Bake for 90 min or until done in middle.
