6 large potatoes, peeled and quartered
5 c. chopped cabbage
1 c. milk
1/2 c. chopped green onion or leeks
1/2 c. snipped parsley
salt
white pepper
2 T. butter

Directions:
Directions:
In a large pan cook potatoes, uncovered, in a small amount of boiling salted water for 20-25 minutes or until tender. Drain. In medium pan cook cabbage, uncovered in small amount of boiling salted water for 2 minutes. Cover and cook for 6-8 minutes more or until cabbage is tender. Drain. Mash potatoes. Stir in milk, onion, and parsley. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Add butter and drained cabbage. Stir till butter is melted and mixture is combined.
